PROJECT

Your project for the maps unit is to create a blog or website about the U.S. state of your choosing. This blog can be created on any platform, but we have found that blogger.com (for blogs) and wix.com (for websites) are useful for students. It is to have at least five posts or pages that cover but are not limited to the state's

• Government/politics
• Climate
• Tourism
• Fun facts
• Population
• Revenue
• Region if U.S. 
• Historic events

The blog or website should have at least 10 pictures on it, and it should be easy to navigate. It should have a favicon (go to favicon.io to create one) and an aesthetically pleasing theme. Send the link to the website to Audrina Chalbany at audrinachalbany@gmail.com, and she will grade it. 

DAILY SCHEDULE

1. Complete map quiz game (click here). 

2. Watch one video in Exclusive Video Learning. 

3. Read about a fun unit. 

4. Complete map quiz game again (click here).

5. Work on project for 15 minutes. 

REPEAT THIS SCHEDULE FOR 10 DAYS. 

BY THE END OF THE UNIT, YOU MUST...

Have a fully-functioning blog that is informative and aesthetically pleasing. 

Be able to take the quiz on the 50 states of the U.S. and score 90% or higher. 

Be able to answer questions about the state you chose for your blog. 

If you are able to present to Audrina Chalbany that you can do all of this, she will email you a certificate of achievement.
